1972 Suzuki TS185J Sierra
Reg. no. PHJ 721K
Frame no. TS185 - 27599
Engine no. TS185 - 27608
In the 1970s, especially in the USA and Canada there was a demand for a dual-purpose motorbike that had the light weight, nimble handling and low cost of a 125 combined with the torque and power of a 250. Suzuki achieved the design brief with the production of the TS185 Sierra. It had six inches of adjustable front fork travel and adjustable rear shocks, good progressive brakes for the steep off-road decent and a good margin of safety when on the tarmac. The engine was strong and reliable and at under 700$ it was a great success.
Condition: Imported from California and restored to a very high standard several years ago, it is still in good condition and would make someone a light weight, powerful dual-purpose trail and road bike that is ready to go. Described by the owner as very easy to start and runs well with everything working as it should.
Comes with – a current V5C and dating certificate from Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club.
