Lot B21

1959 Royal Enfield Constellation 700cc
Reg. no. TJG 82
Frame no.
Engine no.
The 692cc Royal Enfield Constellation was a well-mannered road burner with a tremendous punch and was capable of very high cruising speeds. Up until the time the parallel twin Constellation was released to the market, enthusiasts had to have a 1000cc v-twin to get comparable levels of power. Its effortless hill climbing and 90mph cruising speed had to be experienced to be believed.
The present owner has had the bike since 2016 and says the engine, frame and gearbox numbers are as the bike left the factory and that a previous elderly owner who was not using the bike at the time did not change the Buff Log Book for the new V5 back in the day and the registration lapsed. This was not rectified until 2002 when luckily with the help of the Royal Enfield Owners Club it was reallocated its original registration number by the DVLA.

Comes with - a current V5C, the old logbook, and authentication certificates from the DVLA and the Royal Enfield Owners Club.
