Lot B14

Description:

1953 Velocette MAC 350cc
Reg. no. TPH 208
Frame no.
Engine no.
Velocette four strokes have often been described as the archetypal upper-class classics, standing out well above the standard single cylinder slogger of the 1950s and 1960s.
Although lacking in the iconic kudos of the Thruxton and KTT, the 350 MAC was a quality, sound touring single and it remains to this day, a sought-after classic. The big change for the MAC came with amongst other minor mods, the introduction of the swinging arm and rear suspension that could be adjusted by moving the tops in an arc to provide softer or firmer damping.
This has to be one of the best 1950s Velocette MACs on the market today, its present owner has had this stunning bike since 1989, with only two owners from new. The engine, frame and gearbox numbers all appear correct.

Comes with – a current V5C.
