Lot B11

Description:

1959 Matchless G12 650cc
Reg. no. HAS 181
Frame no.
Engine no.
This is a fast, but tractable super touring parallel twin that likes an open road. The Matchless G12 was described by road testers as a bike that is docile in slow moving traffic, but, when the throttle is opened and with commendably little fuss, the speed builds smoothly with deceptive rapidity. Along with its large fuel tank and good fuel consumption, the dual seat is generously dimensioned allowing the rider and passenger the ability to cover long distances in comfort.

This G12 appears to be in very good, well cared for condition and has been owned and used by the current owner since 2016. He stated that it runs very well, and the engine, frame and gearbox numbers have been authenticated by the AJS/Matchless Owners Club.

Comes with - a current V5C, AJS/Matchless Owners Club Certificate of Authenticity.
