1925 BSA 250cc \'Round Tank\'
Reg. no. JSK 734
Frame no. B9359
Engine no. B8916
The Model B more commonly known as the round tank, was the best selling BSA of the 1920s. It was a cheap and reliable form of lightweight transport powered by a 250cc side valve engine coupled to a two speed gearbox. In 1926 the three speed gearbox was introduced and this was the last year of the famous round tank. The bike in the auction is said to be in ‘barn find‘ condition but the previous owner informed the vendor that the engine was running. Possibly used as a grass track bike at some stage, this interesting BSA is sold here with a current V5c and an old style logbook.
