Lot 2004

Description:

1983 MZ TS125 125cc
Reg. no. A507 UMH
Frame no. 8825484
Engine no. 7466202
MZ can trace its roots back to the early days of DKW in Germany. It wasn’t until 1948, now part of East Germany that the name of MZ came to the forefront. Known for its basic two stroke engine motorcycles that were cheap to buy and run, MZ developed a large following and became known for its reliability throughout the world. MZ also had some success with their racing program with road racing, trials and scrambles bikes. The bike in the auction is the 125cc version and it would make a very good commuter bike being cheap to run. It is said to be in generally good condition having had a new drive chain and battery fitted, and is sold with a current V5c.
