Description:

1966 Triumph 5TA Speed Twin
Reg. no. ADM 674A
Frame no. H44011
Engine no. T100AH10975
Triumph must be the best know British motorbike manufacturer, with production beginning as early as 1911. The famous parallel twin was designed by Edward Turner in the late 1930s and production started in 1937, fast becoming the main stay of Triumph production. In the early 1960s it was developed into a unit construction engine, which ran in various models until the downturn of the British motorcycle manufacture in the 1970s. The bike in the sale is said to be in good to excellent condition by our vendor, but will need recommissioning as it has had limited use for some years. It is currently fitted with an early T100A engine which starts well; it is sold with current V5c.
