Lot 1900A

1967 BSA Bantam 175cc Post Office Bike
Reg. no. SYM 630F
Frame no. Unknown
Engine no. BD10237
Announced in 1948, the Bantam became a top seller for BSA, more than half a million leaving the factory before production ceased in 1971. One of its foremost users was the \'GPO\' (General Post Office-Royal Mail\'s forerunner) whose red-liveried machines were used for telegram deliveries and they became a familiar sight on city streets. This example is in good all round condition having been restored in 1995. We are told that it is currently missing one side panel and it is offered with a V5c and an old style logbook.
