1957 BSA 650cc Road Rocket
Reg. no. UUU 489
Frame no. FAT683
Engine no. CA10R16041
BSA is both one of the best loved and oldest British motorcyle manufacturers. In 1950 the 650cc Twin, originally sold as the Gold Flash, designed by Bert Hopwood soon became extremely popular, especially in America. It was also named the Road Rocket, Super Rocket and Rocket Gold Star, according to its styling. The A10 engine was superseded in 1961 by the unit construction engine known as the A65. This bike appears to be a very original example, it has been stored for some years, so therefore will require recommissioning. It is offered with a V5c.
