Reg. no. BCY 222
Frame no. XF10142

Ariel was one of the oldest motorcycle manufacturers in the country, having started production of three wheelers in 1898; their first motorcycle was produced in 1902. The single cylinder range designed by Val Page ran from the mid 1920s to the late 1950s with very little change. Know for its reliability on the road it was also used for trials and scrambles. The bike in the auction is in very useable condition although it will need recommissioning having not run for some years; the engine does turn over. It is offered here with a current V5c.
