September 24th and 25th – Petroliana and Automobilia at The Old Laundry, Ivy Road, Chippenham, SN15 1SB
Friday 24th – 9.30am start. Approx. 650 lots of automobilia including a significant collection of AA and RAC badges amassed over several decades by a well respected collector.
Saturday 25th – 9.30am start. Approx. 770 lots of petroliana to include ename signs, tins, petrol pumps, globes etc.
Please note the petrol pumps and oil cabinets are stored off-site and may be viewed by appointment. Please ask to do this.
These are live in-the-room auctions as well as online, you are very welcome to attend, we ask that a mask is worn when in the saleroom and where possible a courteous distance between bidders is appreciated. We will encourage bidders to take regular breaks outside the saleroom when not bidding but we will not be policing that. The saleroom shutter will be open to ensure good airflow.
If you are able to view before the day, especially for the badge lots then we advise that you do, as with limited numbers able to view at one time, viewing may be difficut.
We are not asking you to book to attend this sale.
Viewing: Wednesday 10am-5pm, Thursday 10am-5pm, Friday 8.30am-5pm, Saturday from 8.30am.
In addition to in the room bidding, bids can be left with us, live bidding over the telephone available as well as through the-saleroom.com

Bidding over the telephone
Telephone bids are available on a first-come-first-served basis. You will need to complete a Telephone Bid Form (PDF file) and scan into an email along with two proofs of identity, we will acknowledge receipt. On the day of the sale, a Richard Edmonds Auctions representative will telephone you about five lots before your lots come under the hammer.
Commission Bids
Commission bids must be received at least two hours in advance. Please complete a Commission Bid Form (PDF file), giving your maximum price limit for the lot/lots you are interested in. This must be scanned into an email along with a minimum of two proofs of identity. Please remember that the buyer’s premium and VAT will be added. If we receive two bids of equal value, preference is given to the bid that arrives first.
Online bidding will be available via the-saleroom.com on Saturday the company will levy a 5% plus vat charge on spares, and 1% plus vat on bikes.
